Becky Lynch Hints Current WWE Run Could Be Her Last Ahead of WrestleMania 42

Becky Lynch has opened up about her WWE future just days before WrestleMania 42, offering comments that suggest her current run may be nearing its final chapter — though not without some hesitation.

Speaking on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet on April 16, Lynch addressed growing speculation around her contract status. Unsurprisingly, she left just enough uncertainty to keep fans guessing rather than calling it a clean finish.

When asked directly if this is her final run, Lynch didn’t exactly tap out on the idea. However, she didn’t lock it in either. “I didn’t say it with such assuredness… I said it’s probably my last one,” she explained. “It’s not a sure thing… but yeah, it might be. Could be.”

That hesitation reflects a balancing act Lynch has been navigating. While she made it clear she still feels in her prime — “plenty left in the tank” — she also pointed to life outside the ring as a growing priority.

“You never want to outstay your welcome,” Lynch said, noting that time with her daughter and the possibility of expanding her family weigh heavily in her thinking. At the same time, she stressed that her passion hasn’t faded, adding that her “love of what I do… that’s not going anywhere.”

The comments echo her earlier statement in WWE Unreal, where she described this contract as “probably” her last. However, the latest remarks suggest the door isn’t fully closed — more of a slow count than a sudden three.

This comes as Lynch prepares for a high-profile WrestleMania 42 clash against AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The timing has only added intrigue. Lynch herself hinted that the match could mirror past career-defining moments — possibly even her own final chapter.

For now, Lynch appears focused on finishing strong — telling stories, delivering matches, and ensuring the division she helped elevate remains center stage.

As WrestleMania 42 approaches, one thing is clear. Whether this is the last run or just another chapter, “The Man” isn’t leaving quietly.
