The final episode of WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 42 raised questions about the future of the Wyatt Sicks. After losing a big street fight on April 17, 2026, fans started wondering what’s next for the group.
The match featured Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Talla Tonga, and Tama Tonga going up against Wyatt 6 members Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Uncle Howdy. It was a wild fight with kendo sticks, chairs, ring steps, and big moves outside the ring.
There were some standout moments too. Rowan even jumped off onto Talla Tonga in a rare high-flying move, while the action kept going everywhere.
Even though Wyatt 6 had some control during the match, things changed near the end. With help from interference and strong attacks, the MFTs took over. The match ended when Solo Sikoa hit Uncle Howdy with a Samoan Spike to get the win.
After the match, there was tension in the winning team, especially with Tama Tonga staring coldly at Sikoa.
WWE universe raises concerns over Wyatt Sicks’ direction after SmackDown
Fan reactions emerged online immediately after the match, and most of those were critical. Many wonder where the group would go from here. Some even said this loss might be the “final nail in the coffin” for them. Others pointed out that Uncle Howdy keeps getting pinned in big matches.
Another issue fans spot is repetition. Since returning, the group has had similar dark and chaotic segments, but not enough wins to back up their legitimacy and menace. This has led to talk that WWE might be changing or reducing their original plans.
There is also confusion about their role. Even though they have a dark and creepy style, WWE sometimes presents them as anti-heroes or even good guys. This mixed identity has made it hard for fans to connect with them.
Injuries and TV absence also slowed them down earlier. Moving from RAW to SmackDown in 2025 was supposed to give them a fresh start, but it didn’t work like that.
