Dennis Rodman nearly got emotional while speaking about Hulk Hogan.
Appearing ahead of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Rodman admitted he might struggle to hold back tears before going on stage, especially after seeing WWE honor Hogan with a bronze statue at WWE World as part of the “Hulkamania Forever” exhibit.
“Before I go on stage, guys, I’m probably gonna crack up,” Rodman said. “I love the fact what they did for Hulk Hogan today. I love that, I almost fell off my chair. ‘God, it took them so long to do this.’ And congrats, Nick, your family. Oh my God, Hulk, we love you. We miss you so much.”
WWE officially unveiled the larger-than-life statue on April 16, paying tribute to Hogan less than a year after his passing in July 2025. The tribute marked the first WrestleMania season dedicated to celebrating the Hulkster’s legacy posthumously.
Hogan’s influence was also recognized inside the ceremony, as his iconic clash with André the Giant from WrestleMania III was inducted as an “Immortal Moment.” The match remains one of the most defining moments in wrestling history, highlighted by Hogan’s unforgettable body slam.
The night was also historic for Rodman himself, as he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his former nWO stablemates, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman (aka X-Pac). The ceremony took place in Las Vegas on April 17, cementing Rodman’s unique crossover legacy between professional basketball and sports entertainment.
