Trick Williams came out wearing an insanely long coat at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Former NXT Champion Trick Williams walked into WWE WrestleMania 42 for his United States Championship match against Sami Zayn with an advantage after beating up Zayn on SmackDown. But before he could get to the ring, Williams impressed everyone with a special entrance.
Rapper Lil Yachty came out first and hyped up the crowd before Trick Williams made his entrance, wearing the lemon pepper steppers and his signature white coat. However, he had a twist with the coat, which was dramatically oversized, covering almost the length of the entire entrance ramp. Commentator Wade Barrett described it as a train when Michael Cole expressed his amazement.
Trick William made his way to the ring with his coat trailing behind and Lil Yachty accompanying him as 50,000 fans, including his parents, chanted “Whoop That Trick.”
Fans also shared their reaction to Williams’ special entrance:
“Trick Williams with a CVS receipt as his robe,” one fan posted.
Trick Williams took that momentum into the match, and after some decent back-and-forth action, he hit Sami Zayn with a Trick Shot to score the pinfall. He walked out of WWE WrestleMania 42 as the new United States Champion, which marked his first major singles championship on the main roster.
