Fans spotted John Cena chugging a beer in one go at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Following his retirement in December 2025, John Cena made his first appearance on WWE television as the host of WrestleMania 42. He opened up both nights of the PLE and then appeared later to announce the attendance. He also had a segment with The Miz, Kit Wilson, and Danhausen on Night 2.
After he appeared before the main event on Night 2, fans spotted George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers handing him a beer. John Cena chugged it in one go and casually shook Kittle’s hand before he went to the back.
John Cena opens up about new WWE role following his retirement
John Cena had earlier confirmed that he’s signed a long-term contract to stay with WWE as an ambassador after his retirement. He opened up about his new role at MEGACon Orlando, saying that he’s trying to find the best way to stay involved with the promotion.
“I am working diligently to try to figure out my next path as a contributing, useful member of WWE I think I might crack the code, and I think we have something.” He also hinted that his role could become much bigger if everything works out. “if the stars align and everybody signs off, I will be a whole lot more integrated in the system, and I’m very excited about the road ahead, and I’ll just cross my fingers that it works,” John Cena said. John Cena had also recently noted that he wants to start a new trend in pro wrestling with his retirement.
