Bianca Belair says she was nervous to share her big news, but she’s really happy that she did.
Belair announced she is pregnant on night one of WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night. Belair made the surprise announcement after John Cena revealed that night’s attendance. The EST came to the ring in a blue dress and robe, claiming that she needed to share another surprise with everyone.
Belair then opened the robe to reveal a baby bump, which resulted in a roar from the crowd.
Now, Belair has expanded her thoughts, thanking fans for their support. She said the past year has resulted in many twists, but her announcement made things all worth it.
“Same venue. Different result. This year. I win,” she wrote on Instagram. “I was so nervous to pop my little private bubble and share this moment but I’m so overwhelmed and truly overjoyed with the outpouring love and support. I was literally shaking and crying backstage before I came out.
This year has been so hard in ways you guys just REALLY don’t even know but everything TRULY happens for a reason. There has been so many twists and turns but ending here has made it all worth it. I’ll be back! But until then enjoy this ride with me! ? ESTofWWE”
Bianca Belair has not wrestled since WrestleMania 41, when she faced off with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. She has been sidelined since then dealing with a hand injury. Belair recently had surgery on her finger and was doing rehab sessions, hoping to return to the ring soon. Her pregnancy announcement will see her sidelined a bit longer, but Belair intends to return to the ring after the baby’s birth.
