Randy Orton still has goals left before retirement hits. He made that clear that even after so many years, he isn’t slowing down much and he has one more feud is still on his mind.
Orton built his career on big rivalries over time. He faced legends like John Cena and Triple H, Christian, Batista, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy and The Undertaker. He went from the Legend Killer to The Viper over the years.
Now, after more than two decades, Orton still wants more. He even mentioned chasing a 15th world title run. But there’s also one opponent he hasn’t fully explored yet. That name stood out during his recent comments.
Randy Orton wants to face Finn Balor
Randy Orton spoke in an interview with The Schmo before WrestleMania 42. He mentioned Finn Balor as someone he wants to face. Not just a match, but a full storyline feud. He said he has never had a singles match with Balor.
He said, “Finn Balor to me, I’ve been in the ring with him, but I’ve never had a singles match, let alone a feud. I would love to be able to say that I did by the end of my career. I think Finn Balor is an amazing talent. There’s nobody smoother than him.” [H/T: f4wonline]
Right now, both stars are on different brands in WWE. That makes things slightly complicated for now. Still, fans think it can happen at the right time.
