Dwayne Johnson Made Big TKO Money In 2025 Despite Missing Multiple Board Meetings

Dwayne Johnson may not have been present at every board meeting in 2025, but he still earned a lot from his royalties in TKO Group Holdings.

Some people might question Johnson’s absence from board meetings, since those roles usually come with high expectations. But at the same time, he brings huge value to the company through his name, influence, and media presence.

In many ways, Johnson’s role is a mix of entertainer and businessman. Even if he isn’t always in meetings, his impact is still felt from WWE shows and events to branding and content.

And TKO’s annual proxy report showed why Dwayne Johnson is still one of TKO’s most valuable figures.

Dwayne Johnson nets huge TKO royalties in 2025 despite missing several board meetings

According to TKO’s official report, Johnson was the only board member who didn’t attend at least 75% of the meetings that year. The board held several meetings, five main ones, but he missed a few because of other work commitments.

Even with that, he still made about $900,000 in royalties in 2025. This comes from a long-term deal he signed when he joined the board in January 2024. That agreement could last up to 10 years and shows how much TKO values the Hollywood star’s global popularity.

On top of that, Johnson was paid around $600,000 for travel expenses. These were linked to his WWE appearances under what’s called the “Johnson Services Agreement.” This likely includes his appearances on WWE RAW, NXT, and events like Elimination Chamber.

Johnson showed up on WWE TV a few times in early 2025. Each appearance created a lot of buzz. He appeared on RAW in January, NXT the next night, SmackDown in February, and later at Elimination Chamber. Even though these appearances were limited, they helped WWE, especially as they transitioned into streaming platforms.

Another big update is that Johnson is now fully vested in $30 million worth of company stock. This was part of his deal when he joined the board and is a big part of his overall earnings from TKO.

His company, Seven Bucks Productions, also worked with TKO. It earned under $120,000 in 2025 for helping with a possible non-scripted project. While that amount is smaller, it shows he is still working with the company in different ways.
