Janel Grant has made public letters she claims were sent to her by the FBI regarding her status as a possible victim.
Amid her ongoing sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, Grant on Tuesday shared photos of the letters on Instagram, stating they were sent to her by the FBI.
“This is the first letter I got from the FBI. I received these letters between May 2023 and mid-December 2025,” Grant wrote.
Grant has been involved in a legal battle with McMahon and his former promotion for quite some time. In 2022, WWE’s board began investigating hush-money allegations involving McMahon and several women, dating back to between 1992 and 2022.
McMahon resigned from his position in July 2022, leading WWE to appoint Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-CEOs. Paul “Triple H” Levesque took over as head of creative. McMahon briefly returned in January 2023 but resigned again after graphic details from Grant’s lawsuit became public.
Notably, WWE referenced McMahon on the road to WrestleMania 42, teasing a potential return that ultimately did not materialize.
In her initial lawsuit, Grant alleged that McMahon coerced her into providing sexual favors and intended to use her as leverage in contract negotiations with Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has since retired, doing so at WrestleMania 42 following his match against Oba Femi.
Additional details have since emerged in the lawsuit, which fans can view here.
