911 Audio Reveals Second CM Punk Fan Incident During WWE WrestleMania Weekend

CM Punk is back in the spotlight after WrestleMania 42 weekend, but this time it’s for all the wrong reasons. A newly released 911 audio clip suggests there was another incident involving a fan in Las Vegas.

This is a separate situation from the earlier viral video where Punk knocked a fan’s phone out of his hand during the same weekend. That moment had already sparked a lot of talk about wrestlers’ security and privacy.

911 call details second CM Punk fan incident during WrestleMania weekend

According to TMZ, the second incident occurred on April 20, 2026, in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. In the audio, a caller claims that Punk shoved him in the chest when he tried to approach him for an autograph.

In the new 911 audio, the fan says he didn’t mean any harm. He claims he just wanted a picture or an autograph, but things escalated. According to the translated audio, he said Punk pushed and hit his chest. Moreover, he appeared angry during the exchange.

“I was here waiting for the WWE superstars and I was trying to get a picture and maybe an autograph from them. Without ill intentions I just got close to them. And then when I got close, the star CM Punk pushes me and chops me from my chest,” the fan said in the audio (as translated by the interpreter).

The fan also said that Punk’s face was “red and his eyesight was full of anger,” However, police who responded did not file any official report, as per TMZ.

The earlier viral clip, also from the MGM Grand, showed a fan getting close to AJ Lee and Bayley. After Bayley tried to get rid of the fan, Punk stepped in and knocked the phone out of the person’s hand. That fan later said he didn’t want legal action but would like an apology.

Reports say the two incidents involved different people, so they are being treated separately. So far, neither WWE nor CM Punk has responded publicly to the new 911 audio. Since no official police report was filed, it’s unlikely that anything more will come from the situation.
