Brock Lesnar Quietly Removed From Current WWE Roster Page

Brock Lesnar appears to be one step closer to officially closing the book on his WWE career. Weeks after his emotional loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42, Lesnar has quietly been moved from WWE’s active roster page to the company’s alumni section.

The change comes after months of speculation surrounding Lesnar’s future following his WrestleMania defeat in Las Vegas.

While WWE has stopped short of outright calling him retired on television, several signs have pointed toward “The Beast Incarnate” finally stepping away from the ring.

Sometimes, leaving your boots in the ring says more than any retirement speech ever could.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE alumni move fuels Retirement speculation

Lesnar’s final appearance came on night two of WrestleMania 42, where he lost to Oba Femi in what many viewed as a passing-of-the-torch moment. After the match, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots, left them inside the ring, and embraced Paul Heyman before walking backstage.

In the weeks that followed, WWE aired multiple career retrospective videos on RAW and SmackDown, celebrating Lesnar’s accomplishments. The company also released merchandise connected to his apparent farewell, further fueling speculation that the retirement angle was legitimate.

Now, his official move to WWE’s alumni page has added another layer to that belief. Although rumors previously suggested the Beast could retire later this year around SummerSlam, the website update indicates WWE may already view his in-ring career as complete.

Lesnar leaves behind one of the most decorated resumes in wrestling history. Since debuting on WWE television in 2002, he quickly became the youngest WWE Champion at the time and later built a career across multiple combat sports. Alongside seven WWE Championship reigns and three Universal Title runs, Lesnar also held the UFC Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

His career includes victories in the 2003 and 2022 Royal Rumble matches, as well as ending The Undertaker’s legendary WrestleMania undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30.

For now, WWE has not issued an official retirement statement regarding Lesnar. Still, with his roster status now shifted to alumni, the company may have quietly delivered the final bell on one of wrestling’s most dominant careers.
