UFC’s Dana White Pushes Back on Claim Donald Trump Is Failing The American People

UFC CEO Dana White has pushed back on criticism that Donald Trump is “failing the American people.”

During a recent appearance on Breakfast Club, White described his relationship with Trump as a long-standing personal friendship spanning more than two decades.

Host Charlamagne Tha God then questioned whether White should be more critical of his friend given concerns about the economy, cost of living, and public policy decisions.

White acknowledged those concerns but maintained that he does not agree with the characterization that Trump is failing the country.

“I don’t know if I agree that he’s failing the people. When the President is done in three years, people will look back and realize a lot of the good things. See, I’m closer to him too, and I see all the good things that he does.”

Charlamagne pointed to issues such as rising living costs and healthcare concerns, to which White responded that it is impossible for any U.S. president to satisfy everyone. He also suggested that history often shapes how leadership is ultimately judged.

“You’re never going to have a President that everybody approves 100% of everything they do, and not everything is always going to be perfect. You’re going to have some things that work out great and a lot of things that don’t.”
