Kevin Hart calls out Hulk Hogan‘s racism during Netflix roast.
The Roast of Kevin Hart is the latest TV special to hit Netflix. Kevin Hart sait in the hot seat with Shane Gillis as the host. The star-studded line-up also featured Tom Brady, Pete Davidson, Draymond Green, Regina Hall, Jeff Ross, Usher, Sheryl Underwood, and Tony Hinchcliffe.
During the segment, Kevin Hart took aim at Shane Gillis, blending his signature humor with sharp commentary about the host’s set.
“Shane Gillis, as a host, show him some love. Seriously, what a good set. What a good set. I’ll be honest with you,
“Shane Gillis was one Bud Light away from calling me a n***er on this stage tonight. One Bud Light! ‘N***er,’ he wanted to say it!
“Shane is on my Mount Rushmore of racism,” Hart said, before moving from the host to a broader list of targets tied to controversial cultural figures.
“My Mount Rushmore of racism, when it comes to hating Black people [is] Shane Gillis, Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, Stephen A. Smith. Those are my four people when it comes to hating Black people.”
The reference to Hulk Hogan ties back to long-standing controversy surrounding past racist remarks that surfaced years ago and led to major backlash, including professional consequences and public criticism.
The Rock shocks with profanity-filled jokes at Kevin Hart roast
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a surprise appearance towards the end of the show, entering the arena to Queen’s “We Will Rock You.”
He immediately ripped on several people on stage, including Chelsea Handler and WWE WrestleMania 42 weekend star and comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.
“Chelsea also said she can’t be racist because she f**ks a lot of Black guys. Which is like Tony saying he can’t be homophobic because he f**ks a lot of Black guys.”
“It’s true,” Hinchcliffe jokingly said as he nodded from the stage.
“Tony, look at you, you little sassy bigot,” The Rock continued. “I’m gonna cook—you look like a plantation owner who makes his slaves perform musicals.”
