WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer‘s former boyfriend has received a lengthy prison sentence in an attempted murder and domestic violence case.
According to RÉCORD, El Cuatrero (aka Rogelio “N”) has been sentenced to 12 years and 8 months in prison. He was found guilty of attempted femicide and domestic violence against his former partner, Stephanie Vaquer, last week.
Femicide is the intentional killing of women due to a gender-related motivation such as misogyny. Victims of femicide are often targeted by family members or an intimate partner. It is different than homicide, which is not specifically motivated by gender.
The charges stem from an assault that occurred in March 2023 in Mexico City. The case gained significant attention after images of marks on Vaquer’s neck were shared following the 2023 attack, leading to Cuatrero’s initial arrest and subsequent removal from major wrestling events.
Although the sentence is nearly 13 years, the two years (2023–2025) he spent in preventive detention will be deducted from his total time. The report further notes that Cuatrero may eventually seek a sentence reduction for good behavior. This would require him to serve at least half of the total penalty. If granted, he could potentially be released in just over five years.
Stephanie Vaquer was last seen in action at WrestleMania 42, where she lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan. She was written off television with a backstage assault on the April 27 episode of WWE RAW to allow her to heal a legitimate injury.
