Stephanie Vaquer could be back on WWE RAW sooner than later.
PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson is reporting that Stephanie Vaquer is expected back on WWE television soon. According to the report, there have been creative discussions about her return recently. In addition, some within WWE speculate that Vaquer could be back as soon as this week’s episode of RAW, which takes place in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Stephanie Vaquer has been out since she was written off of television on the April 27 episode of WWE RAW. WWE explained her absence was due to a storyline attack by The Judgment Day. WWE’s Michael Cole claimed that Vaquer had suffered a “second-degree AC sprain” in her shoulder. However, it was later confirmed that Vaquer was dealing with a legitimate shoulder injury.
Vaquer, the former WWE Women’s World Champion, was expected to be out for several weeks. However, no specific timetable for her return was reported. Wrestlevotes Radio (via Fightful Select) reported that “La Primera” would be out indefinitely with no timetable for a return. WrestleVotes also noted there was talk internally about a minimum six-week absence, but they considered it speculation.
It’s still unclear when Vaquer’s injury happened. However, it’s likely that it happened prior to the storyline RAW attack, which saw Roxanne Perez smash an equipment case into Vaquer’s shoulder.
Vaquer and Liv Morgan’s match at WrestleMania 42 was reportedly kept short due to both competitors dealing with injuries going into the event.
