Scott Steiner’s Son Brock Rechsteiner Lands Major NFL Opportunity

The Steiner family name has always been connected to wrestling success, but Brock Rechsteiner is building his own journey first before possibly stepping into the wrestling world. The son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has officially earned a big NFL opportunity after signing with the New Orleans Saints. He underwent a successful rookie mini-camp tryout.

The Steiner wrestling legacy remains one of the most respected in wrestling history. Brock’s father, Scott Steiner, and uncle Rick Steiner entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 as one of wrestling’s greatest tag teams.

Scott Steiner’s son continues his football career with an NFL opportunity

The Saints confirmed the signing this week. They added Brock to their 90-man offseason roster as the undrafted rookie wide receiver begins the next stage of his football career.

Rechsteiner spent four seasons at Jacksonville State University developing as a wide receiver. During his final college season in 2025, he recorded career-best numbers with 35 catches for 383 yards and five touchdowns. Over his full college career, he totaled 52 receptions for 630 yards and seven touchdowns.

Brock has the size and athletic build that naturally stand out, especially considering the famous Steiner family background. But even though football is his main focus, Brock has never hidden his interest in pro wrestling. He previously signed an NIL deal with WWE during his college football career. This led to a lot of speculation that he could eventually move into the company.

Before joining New Orleans, Brock also attended the rookie minicamp with the Tennessee Titans earlier this year, although that opportunity did not lead to a contract. Now, over the next few months, he will compete during offseason workouts and training camp while trying to survive roster cuts and earn a permanent place with the team for the regular season.
