O’Shea Jackson Jr. Told WWE That Shows Are Ruined By Too Many Ads, and They Agreed

O’Shea Jackson Jr. reveals Triple H told him WWE is trying to figure out better placement for commercials.

O’Shea Jackson Jr. was a guest on a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show. Helwani said WWE went overboard with commercials during WrestleMania, suggesting the presentation suffered because of it.

He also criticized moments where sponsored content interrupted the broadcast, saying some parts of the show should not feel overly commercialized.

O’Shea Jackson Jr. responded by saying he actually discussed ad placement with Triple H a couple of months ago.

“That’s where I draw the line. The amount of ads was ridiculous. I actually told Triple H and Stephanie that,” he said.

“When I went to do Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, What’s Your Story?, we talked afterward at WWE headquarters. Triple H came down, and we were all chatting, and I brought it up to them. I told them, ‘Dude, the ads are crazy.’”

Triple H acknowledged concerns over WWE WrestleMania ad placement

According to Jackson, Triple H told him that they are aware of the criticism and agreed that the ad placement needs improvement.

“It’s almost unwatchable at times. They know it too, and they agreed. I think they’re just trying to figure out better placement for the commercials.”

He added that Roman Reigns’ lengthy entrance does not justify interrupting the broadcast with commercials, stressing that performers deserve better presentation and respect.

“I understand that Roman Reigns’ entrance is seven minutes long, but that doesn’t mean that’s the right time to run ads. There should never be a moment where I miss IYO SKY’s entrance because the show is coming back from a commercial break. It’s about showing respect to the talent. If you’re going to do commercials during a match, fine, but at least use picture-in-picture.”
