AEW star MVP has reignited his war of words with Triple H, this time questioning how many WWE stars the longtime executive and Hall of Famer actually helped elevate during his in-ring career.
The AEW star made the remarks while appearing on the Marking Out podcast, where he compared Triple H’s legacy to that of The Undertaker.
The comments quickly grabbed attention because MVP didn’t just critique Triple H’s leadership style — he openly challenged his value as a top star during WWE’s biggest eras.
While Triple H has long carried the reputation of being “The Game,” MVP suggested that when it came to building future stars, Undertaker played a much stronger hand.

During the interview, MVP argued that Undertaker consistently helped talent get over across multiple generations. He said fans can easily name several wrestlers who benefited from working with Undertaker, while claiming Triple H’s list was far shorter.
“You can go down the list and think of talents that Taker worked with that he elevated,” MVP said. “I’ll give you Randy. I’ll give you Batista. Who else can you remember Triple Nose getting over?”
MVP also pointed to Jeff Hardy as an example of someone he believes never received the full rub after defeating Triple H. According to MVP, Triple H protected his own image even in defeat rather than fully selling Hardy’s victory.
“Jeff Hardy — I remember the finish,” MVP explained. “He sat up smiling like, ‘Gosh, golly, he got me,’ instead of looking hurt.”
The former WWE star said his criticism comes from firsthand experience working around Triple H backstage. MVP added that helping create future stars matters just as much as drawing money at the top of the card. He argued that Undertaker’s willingness to elevate others ultimately made him more valuable to WWE in the long run.
The latest remarks continue MVP’s recent criticism of WWE and Triple H, with the AEW performer making it clear that his issues go beyond corporate philosophy and into wrestling legacy itself. For Triple H, the conversation may now be less about who played “The Game” best — and more about who truly passed the torch.
