WWE 2K26 Makes Major AI Gameplay Changes in New Patch

WWE 2K26 players may have finally noticed that matches flow a little smoother inside the virtual squared circle after the new patch update.

Patch 1.10 officially rolled out this week. One of the biggest focuses centers around gameplay AI, repetitive match sequences, and long-standing issues across Universe mode and the Create Suite.

While WWE games have sometimes attracted criticism of replaying spots more often than a John Cena comeback montage, the latest update appears designed to break that cycle.

According to the official patch notes, Visual Concepts and 2K specifically targeted “repetitive behavior” in the game’s AI systems.

The update adjusts AI sequence logic to stop computer-controlled wrestlers from endlessly repeating the same attack patterns, grapples, or setup spots during matches.

The patch also improves how AI handles taunts, scripted attacks, and middle-rope stunned sequences. In addition, corner springboard finishers should now execute more reliably without awkward pauses or positioning glitches.

WWE 2K26 Universe mode and create suite receive a major overhaul in the new patch

Beyond gameplay adjustments, Patch 1.10 heavily focuses on Universe mode and the game’s customization tools. Several long-requested fixes also appeared for Money in the Bank cash-ins, rivalry outcomes, draft issues, duplicate superstars, and tag team functionality.

Universe mode stability also received improvements, including fixes for invalid match cards and save-related problems. Watch mode users additionally received increased Rivalry Experience Points rewards.

Meanwhile, the Create Suite saw one of the largest groups of fixes in the update. Face morphing resets in Create-A-Superstar became subject to correction, alongside issues involving titantrons reverting to generic videos, metallic texture glitches, pyro timeline placement problems, and Create-A-Championship soft locks.

Presentation updates also emerged as a priority that came to life. Tiffany Stratton received a brand-new entrance. Demolition’s entrance was updated with their signature mask removal sequence. Several clipping issues tied to entrances, championship belts, WarGames, and Elimination Chamber scenes were also addressed.

MyFACTION and MyGM weren’t left out either. They received stability updates, roster changes, and fixes for match-ending bugs and menu presentation issues.

Overall, Patch 1.10 looks less like a quick hotfix and more like a full gameplay tune-up aimed at improving nearly every major mode in WWE 2K26.
