WWE Talent’s Role In UFC Freedom 250 White House Event Confirmed

UFC has announced the WWE Superstars’ role at the upcoming Freedom 250 event at the White House.

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, UFC will host a historic event on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14. The promotion will also host the Fan Fest on June 13 and 14 at The Ellipse, south of the White House grounds. Since WWE and UFC fall under the same TKO umbrella, several wrestling stars will also be at the Fan Fest event.

UFC made the official announcement via social media, and the Fan Fest experience includes meet-and-greets with several UFC fighters and WWE Superstars. However, there’s no detail on the names of the WWE stars appearing at the event.

Apart from the UFC and WWE star meet-and-greets, the Fan Fest will also feature other experiences, including live panels, Q&As, the ceremonial UFC Freedom 250 weigh-in, and a Zac Brown concert.

Who will compete at UFC 250?

The UFC Freedom 250 match card features:

  • Ilia Topuria (c) vs. Justin Gaethje – Lightweight Title bout
  • Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane – Heavyweight Interim Title bout
  • Sean O’Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi – Bantamweight bout
  • Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis – Heavyweight bout
  • Maurício Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler – Lightweight bout
  • Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus – Middleweight bout
  • Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia – Featherweight bout

UFC fighters have attended several WWE shows, seated in the front row. However, the upcoming White House event will feature a crossover between stars of both promotions.
