Jim Cornette Calls Roman Reigns An ‘Attention Whore’ Over UFC White House Appearance

Jim Cornette had a pretty extreme take on Roman Reigns‘ UFC White House appearance.

It’s been more than a week since the WWE World Heavyweight Champion showed up at UFC Freedom 250 on the South Lawn of the White House. Reigns’ appearance was highlighted by TKO on social media, prompting a response from Conor McGregor.

Now, Jim Cornette has heavily criticized Roman Reigns for appearing at UFC’s White House event. Speaking during a recent episode of his Drive-Thru podcast, the legendary pro wrestling manager didn’t mince words.

“He’ll go to Saudi Arabia. He’ll go to the White House. He’ll go wherever they’ll pay him. He’s just an attention whore,” Cornette said. “He’s a big enough star he could have said no f***ing way to the White House. So, we now know he’s one of them and what he’s all about. Boring and questionable values.” [H/T Cageside Seats]

Jim Cornette isn’t the only pro wrestling personality to criticize Roman Reigns over his UFC White House appearance. Actor and pro wrestler Paul Walter Hauser previously called out the OTC for showing up at the event while questioning his commitment to WWE.

Reigns appeared on RAW last week for an in-ring segment with The Bloodline. The promo led to Jacob Fatu attacking Eric Andre after the comedian touched Fatu’s ula fala.

Fans can revisit the entire segment here. Andre also ripped his Little Brother co-star, John Cena, and called him out for not saving him from the attack.
