Former WWE star Daria Rae is nearing a crossroads in her wrestling career as her current contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire soon.
Rae, who WWE fans know as Sonya Deville, made her surprise TNA debut during the January 2026 premiere of iMPACT. Since joining the company, she has become one of the promotion’s biggest TV personalities, mainly through her rivalry with Santino Marella.
With June getting closer, Rae recently admitted that she still has not signed a new deal with TNA.

During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Rae was asked if she had already re-signed with the company. She avoided giving a direct answer but made it clear that her future is still undecided.
“Did I re-sign with TNA? Well, my contract is not up until the month of June so, you will have to see. We will see,” she said (H/T: Fightful Select).
Now, whether TNA will try to keep her long-term or if she could move on to other opportunities outside wrestling remains to be seen.
Outside the ring, Rae has been focusing heavily on acting since leaving WWE in early 2025. During the same appearance, she revealed that several movie projects are currently in the works.
“I have quite a few movies coming out in the next year. Two of ‘em, yeah. Two since I left WWE and then I filmed six more that are in editing right now,” Rae shared.
When asked if they were Lifetime movies, Rae explained that the projects are spread across different platforms before adding, “That’s my main gig.”
Even with her growing acting career, Rae has continued appearing regularly on TNA TV. She was recently featured on the May 14 episode of iMPACT, where she announced a World Championship match for the May 21 show.
