Tony Khan says AEW is preparing to take “big swings” in 2027, and the timing of those comments has quickly grabbed attention across the wrestling world.
With WWE’s WrestleMania 43 expected to head to Saudi Arabia, questions are already swirling about how aggressively AEW plans to counterprogram one of sports entertainment’s biggest weekends.
Speaking during AEW’s Double or Nothing media call in May 2026, Khan addressed speculation surrounding the future of AEW’s major events calendar — particularly the location of All In in 2027.
When asked by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful whether All In would remain at Wembley Stadium or potentially return to North America, Khan stopped short of confirming anything concrete. However, he made it clear AEW isn’t planning to play small ball.
“I haven’t decided what to do in 2027 yet,” Khan said. “But I do know 2027 will be another very big year for AEW and I plan to take big swings.”
That statement landed harder than a Rainmaker lariat for fans already tracking WWE’s reported Saudi Arabia plans for WrestleMania 43. Khan also noted that AEW’s full 2027 schedule is still being finalized, though he teased “huge events” coming to the United States.
“We’ll have a lot of big events coming to the United States I don’t have the whole calendar planned for 2027 yet but uh we’ll definitely uh have some huge events coming up.” Said Tony.
Tony Khan hints at massive AEW Revolution and All In plans
Khan’s comments also align with earlier teases about a massive spring 2027 AEW event designed to capitalize on WrestleMania weekend attention. While he did not directly mention WWE during the media call, the scheduling overlap is difficult to ignore.
In addition to uncertainty surrounding All In’s future home, Khan specifically pointed to AEW Revolution 2027 as a show expected to be historically significant for the company.
He also highlighted AEW’s current financial momentum, noting that the promotion is experiencing record revenue growth.
According to Khan, those profits are being reinvested into international expansion, digital projects, and other new ventures — including the creatively named “AEW Fairway to Heaven” golf tournament.
For now, AEW’s 2027 plans remain partly under wraps, but Khan’s latest comments suggest the company is preparing to swing for the fences rather than settle for a safe pinfall.
