Brooke Hogan says she’s still keeping secrets to protect people amid the Hulk Hogan family fallout.
During her recent appearance on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, late WWE legend Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, opened up about her father and the unanswered questions she still has surrounding his death. She expressed doubt about the autopsy process and detailed the fallout inside the Hogan family and her relationship with her mother, Linda Hogan, and brother, Nick Hogan.
During the conversation, Brooke Hogan revealed that she is keeping some secrets because she is choosing to protect people who have hurt or disregarded her in the past.
“I’m still protecting people that hurt me, or that threw me under the bus, or that had no qualms with throwing me out with the bath water. I think it’s because, morally, some of the stuff that you and I know is so vile and or so bad or so personal that even on a moral compass, I know there’s things I know that I wouldn’t tell even Nick or Linda. It has nothing to do with them. It’s just something that would absolutely shock them to the point where it would rock their whole reality, that it’s something I’m taking to my grave,” Brooke Hogan said.
She opened up about Nick Hogan and the estate
Following Hulk Hogan’s passing last year, reports noted that Brooke Hogan voluntarily removed herself from her father’s will in 2023. However, she later stated that she regrets making that decision. In the interview, she explained that she put Nick Hogan in the position her father had placed her in.
“It’s really disheartening that my brother and I didn’t have a falling out at all. I was helping him, sending him my dad’s medical notes while my dad was in the hospital,” Brooke Hogan said. “Mind you, I had just had twins. I’m recovering from a massive C-section. I can’t even ride in the car.
“So, I’m trying to send all my medical notes and stuff, and then, it’s like I think people forget the seat that my brother is in, I gave to him. He wouldn’t be sitting at that table had I not stepped down. There was no we’re both on it. No, my dad had me right in that position as head honcho right next to Terry McCoy [Hulk Hogan’s longtime financial advisor and friend]. Nick was not on anything.
“I made a promise to my dad, I said, ‘Of course, Dad, I will dole out everything equally between me and Nick. I’ll make sure he’s taken care of, even if I have to give him more to get him on his feet. I will always take care of my brother.’ Not that I’m saying that, you know, me and Steve [Steven Oleksy, her husband], I made my decision. I stand by it. Me and Steve are hustlers. We’ll be fine. We’ll make it,” Brooke Hogan continued.
Brooke Hogan is disappointed she doesn’t have any of her father’s personal possessions
Speaking further, Brooke Hogan revealed that she requested some of her father’s personal possessions after his death. However, all Nick Hogan gave her were some flip-flops and a pair of t-shirts she never remembers the WWE legend even wearing.
“But it’s a little bit disheartening that I got flip-flops, and some flops that I don’t remember him ever wearing, and a couple of t-shirts I don’t remember him wearing. After Bubba the Love Sponge pointed out how one of Hulk Hogan’s WrestleMania 18-worn boots sold for $236,000 on eBay, Brooke Hogan said, “That’s the thing, too, I’m at the point where I’m calling Ronnie at the beach shop, and I’m like, ‘Do you have any memorabilia or anything that’s like original of my dad’s that I could buy as a fan?’ And Ronnie said, ‘Nick has it all.’
“I can’t get a belt, and I wouldn’t sell it either. I didn’t get the millions of dollars. I’m not closing on million-dollar houses in Tarpon Springs. I’m a realtor, right? I can find stuff out. I would never sell anything of my dad’s, and I told my dad that, too. So it’s really sad that I can’t even get something of his memorabilia to show my children one day,” Brooke Hogan said.
She claims Nick Hogan ghosted her
“I didn’t emancipate myself. I didn’t go tell my brother to go f off. I simply texted him, and I said, ‘Nick, I’m putting you in the position I was in. I trust you, I hope you’ll do the right thing.’ He’s like, ‘Don’t worry, Brooke, I’ll take care of you,’ you know, the whole song and dance. It’s kind of like he just disappeared. He’s got Steve’s number.
“I’ve kind of been a little bit of a person where I stopped using my phone, and I only talk on my phone for business, and I only do Instagram posts. So I really tried to disconnect from the phone, but Nick’s got Steve’s number,” Brooke Hogan continued.
Brooke Hogan says she wasn’t invited to the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame or WrestleMania 42
WWE honored Hulk Hogan’s match with Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III as the Immortal Moment on the 2026 Hall of Fame. The promotion also unveiled a bronze statue of the legend at WWE World during WrestleMania 42 weekend. While Nick Hogan was present for these occasions, Brooke Hogan reveals she wasn’t invited. She also says the company’s president, Nick Khan, told her that he extended an invitation through her brother.
“We never got invited to any of the WrestleMania stuff, and Nick Khan was like, ‘I extended the invitation through your brother.’ So it’s almost like Nick got all this stuff and was just like, ‘It’s easier for me to just not call because now I don’t have to explain anything. I don’t have to give up anything, and I don’t have to share.’ So, that’s fine, as my mother would say, ‘It’s a cheap lesson to learn who people are,’ but the thing that upsets me the most is that I have absolutely nothing of my dad’s other than stuff I bought myself from, like, a WrestleCon years ago from a fan.” Brooke Hogan concluded.
