Booker T Surprised WWE Hasn’t Called Up Rising NXT Star Yet

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently shared his surprise that one of NXT’s top rising stars has not yet been called up to the main roster.

WWE NXT features a mix of rising stars, experienced wrestlers, and champions. Some of the brand’s top names include Tony D’Angelo, Myles Borne, Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, Jaida Parker, and Kelani Jordan.

While several stars have recently moved to WWE’s main roster, Booker T admitted he was surprised that Kelani Jordan has not received a call-up yet.

Booker T surprised WWE hasn’t called up Kelani Jordan yey

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed the next group of NXT stars who could receive main roster call-ups in the future. He said, “Kelani Jordan, I’m surprised she didn’t get called up. She’s trying to make them bad. She didn’t, in a lot of ways. Of course, she could have gone to the main roster and made a splash. I think a little while longer in NXT is really going to put her in a great position to get there and really make a big splash.”

Booker T also noted that the current WWE roster is crowded and said he would not want Jordan to get lost in the shuffle. “Right now, it’s kind of crowded with so many people going and so many people doing things right now, but I wouldn’t want her to get lost in the shuffle or anything like that.”

“But I think her talent, man, her talent, just learning the psychology at such a young age in this business, the short time she’s been doing it, it’s amazing. It’s amazing to see her growth. And now her confidence has kicked in. She knew how to run a play, all right? She had to learn the play. I know how to run a play. But then once you start making the plays, oh man, that’s when you start to really, really get good.”
