A top WWE star appears to have suffered an injury ahead of his big title match at Clash in Italy.
During WWE’s European Summer Tour live event at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England, last night, Jacob Fatu defeated Solo Sikoa in a street fight. According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the Samoan Werewolf was seen limping when he made his way out to the back after the bout.
However, the report says it’s unclear if Jacob Fatu’s injury was legitimate or if he was only selling. Fans are leaning towards the latter, as Fatu has done it in the past.
Jacob Fatu will take on Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Clash in Italy. He challenged the OTC to the match after failing to dethrone him at the Backlash PLE earlier this month. Reigns accepted, and during the contract signing segment on this past Monday’s episode of RAW, he set a major condition before their bout.
Roman Reigns made it clear that if he loses, Jacob Fatu will become the new leader of The Bloodline. However, Reigns noted that if Fatu loses, he will “domesticate” the Samoan Werewolf, make him fully acknowledge and serve him.
WWE Clash in Italy will emanate from the Inalpi Arena in Turin this Sunday at 2 PM ET. Fans can livestream the show on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and on Netflix in most international markets. The first hour will air free on ESPN.
