Blake Monroe Calls Out Rhea Ripley In WWE SmackDown Vignette

Blake Monroe has officially made it clear that she has her eyes on the top prize in WWE’s women’s division, which is now held by Rhea Ripley.

On the May 29, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown, another diary-style vignette aired for Monroe as WWE continued building hype around her arrival on the main roster. While earlier videos focused on introducing her to fans, this one was different. This time, Monroe directly targeted the WWE Women’s Champion.

Blake Monroe put Rhea Ripley on notice in a new SmackDown vignette

The segment showed Monroe writing in her diary and talking about some of SmackDown’s top female stars. Eventually, the focus shifted to Ripley, who is set to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy.

Monroe had lot to say about Mami.

“Dear diary, there are so many fascinating women in that SmackDown locker room. Take for example Rhea Ripley. Such presence, such brutality, such delicious misery wrapped in all that black leather,” Monroe said.

She praised Ripley’s presence but suggested that the champion hides her pain behind her tough image. According to Monroe, Ripley tries to scare others because she is running from her own fears, heartbreak, and past betrayals.

“You are as captivating as can be, but while you spend all your time trying to strike fear into the hearts of others, I know you’re only hiding from your own. All that heartbreak and betrayal,” she continued.

Monroe then compared herself to Ripley and claimed she doesn’t need to intimidate people to stand out.

“But I don’t need a fake bravado to make a splash. I turn heads just by showing up. You can run from your fears all you want but you can’t run from me. I’m the stuff of nightmares and I’m dressed as beautiful as a dream,” she said.

“Don’t get too comfortable, because the Glamour is coming to SmackDown. Yours truly, Blake Monroe.”

The promo was Monroe’s biggest statement yet since arriving on SmackDown. Since joining the main roster, WWE has slowly introduced her through a series of vignettes. Her first on-screen appearance came on the May 22 episode of SmackDown when she met with Chelsea Green backstage.
