Sol Ruca addresses concerns about her health ahead of WWE Clash in Italy.
Following their non-title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which ended in a disqualification, Sol Ruca will challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship later tonight at Clash in Italy. However, she appeared to have sustained a leg injury at SNME after an awkward landing while performing the Sol Snatcher.
Reports noted that Sol Ruca was banged up at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but she’s still travelling for Clash in Italy. Becky Lynch also posted several tweets saying Ruca was hurt ahead of the show. Now, appearing on the PLE’s pre-show, the former NXT Women’s North American Champion confirmed that she’s medically cleared to compete.
“I am doing great. I showed up today. I was not medically cleared, but I came in, went to the doctor’s office, and they cleared me, and I’m ready to go.” When Corey Graves asked her if she had any doubts heading into her match after just being cleared, Sol Ruca said, “No. Our medical here, they know their stuff. They make sure that they take care of us, and they say I’m cleared. I’m ready to go.”
