WWE Legend’s Dream Angle Involved Using A Giant Dildo During Matches

WWE legend B. Brian Blair told a wild story about the legendary Rick Rude, and an angle he wanted to do that involved a “foreign” object.

During a past interview with The Hannibal TV, Blair opened up about his history with Rick Rude.

Rude, who passed away in 1999, was a legendary star, but Blair noted that there was always one angle he wanted to try.

“Rick was a tremendous wrestler,” said Blair. “That guy could get heat like no tomorrow, and then he could give you a hell of a comeback. That guy was a total package. Rick Rude was one of the best workers, I mean godly, and he wanted to do this angle one time.

“I’ll shoot with you right here and he said ‘Brian, you and [NWA President] Eddie [Graham] are pretty close and he says I think you can get this by him.’ And I said ‘What’s that?’ He said…you know how I do the dance with the painted tights and all that?’ and I said ‘Yeah yeah, I’m listening.’ …He says ‘I want to get a giant dildo and I’m going to slide it down my trunks and I’ll do the dance and everything and you can imagine the fans reaction.’ And I’m thinking to myself ‘Where’s he going with this?'”

Blair was immediately skeptical that Rude’s idea would get approved

Blair then recounted how Rude dove further into the spot. According to Blair, Rude would be picked up for a bump and then inadvertently knock out the referee. After revealing his “Johnson,” Rude would then pull out the dildo and attack the referee with it. Blair joked that, while the angle sounded wild, it couldn’t have worked.

“I’m thinking to myself ‘Well you know, Rick, there’s a lot of kids out there. I don’t think this is going to get over with Eddie, this is pretty strong.’ He said, ‘Come on, I know you can get it by Eddie.’ And I said ‘Well, let’s talk about it some more later.’ And he constantly bothered me about it, asking if I could ask Eddie, and his all-time dream was to do that gimmick. And it would have been funny to do in an adult situation, but you can’t do that kind of stuff with kids in the crowd you know? It’s just not a family-friendly type of thing. But that shows you how creative Rick Rude’s mind is.”
