Jaida Parker’s latest loss to Nattie Neidhart on the June 16 episode of WWE NXT has sparked another wave of criticism from fans, with many wondering if WWE is dropping the ball with one of its brightest young talents.
For weeks, Parker and Nattie had been building toward a showdown. Their rivalry wasn’t limited to the ring. They traded shots in interviews, posted videos on social media, and even got into a heated confrontation at The Dungeon 2.0 after Parker crashed one of Nattie’s training sessions.
With all that tension, many expected their match to be a breakout moment for Parker. Instead, she suffered another loss.
The match was long and competitive. Nattie used her veteran experience early on, slowing things down with submission holds and trying to frustrate Parker. Parker fought back with submissions of her own and showed aggression.
Nattie later gained control by driving Parker hard into the mat, but Parker refused to stay down.
She mounted a strong comeback, hitting Nattie with corner boots, shoulder strikes, shoulder tackles, clotheslines, and hip attacks. She even locked in the Rings of Saturn and came close to scoring the win.
But every time Parker looked ready to take over, Nattie found a way back into the match. She repeatedly tried to apply the Sharpshooter, while Parker countered and even sent Nattie crashing to the outside with a huge Hip Attack.
The finish came late in the match.
Nattie pulled Parker off the ring steps and drove her into them stomach-first to regain control. She followed it up with a discus lariat before finally locking in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring.
Parker fought to reach the ropes, but Nattie dragged her back to the center. With nowhere left to go, Parker was forced to tap out.
Fans believe WWE is undermining Jaida Parker
The result immediately upset many fans online. Many fans questioned why Parker keeps coming up short and what WWE’s long-term plans are for her.
One fan questioned what Parker’s next step would look like and whether all this was meant just to humble her.
Another asked who is actually benefiting from that result.
Others pointed out that WWE is ruining Parker’s momentum for Nattie.
Some even suggested Parker step away from WWE for some time to “find herself.”
The reactions are understandable.
Parker has suffered several setbacks in recent months, and another submission loss only adds to the feeling that WWE has cooled off someone who once looked like a future star.
But there may be a bigger story being told. Her loss against Nattie could emerge as the next chapter in that story, maybe a major heel turn.
