All Elite Wrestling’s Deonna Purrazzo has shared a frightening story about an alleged stalker while weighing in on a recent discussion about wrestler safety.
The conversation began after a social media user commented on how fans can identify where wrestlers live through photos and videos that show houses in the background. In response, Jordynne Grace issued a blunt warning, writing: “Come to my house if you want. I have seven dogs and a gun.”
Grace later expanded on her thoughts, stressing the importance of security for public figures.
“Anyone in the public eye should have some type of security.
“There are too many people with evil intentions and it’s virtually impossible to scrub your address from the internet.”
Deonna Purrazzo shares terrifying personal experience with stalker
Purrazzo subsequently responded by sharing a scary personal experience. This involved an individual she claims was catfished into believing they were in a relationship.
“Last August, a man drove 2 hrs from CT to meet me at WrestleCon, thinking we were in a relationship,” Purrazzo wrote on X. “I had let him down gently that he had been catfished.
“The next day, he drove back to CT to watch me wrestle at a local show.
“I called the Orlando Police to file a report when I got home bc I wanted it documented this man already traveled across state lines TWICE to see me. They told me since the incident didn’t happen in FL, they couldn’t file a report. This is why I train with firearms. This is why I carry pepper spray. This is why I have an alarm on my keychain.”
Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace are not the only wrestlers to recently speak about troubling fan behavior. Earlier this month, Rhea Ripley revealed that a fan somehow obtained her personal phone number and asked her to meet up. Ripley described the incident as baffling. She used it as another example of the privacy and safety concerns that many performers face outside the ring.
