The action continued even after the June 22 episode of WWE RAW went off the air. Fans in attendance saw a surprise confrontation involving Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Austin Theory, and the Ruler, Oba Femi.
After a chaotic night on RAW, Rollins became the target of two frustrated superstars. Earlier in the show, Bron Breakker and Austin Theory lost the WWE World Tag Team Championships to The Street Profits, and they were clearly looking for Rollins.
Oba Femi and Bron Breakker have a heated staredown
Once RAW ended, Breakker and Theory confronted Rollins and attacked him. The assault was payback for Rollins’ involvement in costing them the tag team titles. With two men attacking him, Rollins looked to be in serious trouble. That changed when Oba Femi suddenly came out to the ring.
The Ruler immediately got involved, taking out Theory with a huge clothesline. With Theory down, Femi and Breakker stood face-to-face in the middle of the ring. Neither man backed down as they exchanged an intense staredown.
Breakker has earned a reputation as one of WWE’s most dangerous stars, but so has Femi, and he showed no fear. Both wrestlers started exchanging heavy blows. Femi pushed Breakker to the corner and hit both him and Theory with running uppercuts.
Theory tried to get back into the fight after recovering. However, Femi threw him on the mat once again and was ready to hit his Fall From Grace finisher. But before he could, Breakker stepped in and pulled Theory out of the ring.
Realizing they no longer had the advantage, Breakker and Theory decided to back away.
Following that, Seth Rollins announced to the crowd that a tag team match between the team of Rollins and Femi and the team of Breakker and Theory will take place tomorrow at the live show.
Moreover, although the stare-down moment between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker was brief, it immediately got fans speculating about a possible future match between the two powerhouses.
