A title match at the latest ROH tapings ended unexpectedly. ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo reportedly suffered an injury during the bout, forcing officials to stop the match early.
Deonna Purrazzo was defending the ROH Women’s Pure Championship during the latest ROH television tapings in Jacksonville. She faced Steph De Lander in the scheduled title match. However, the bout did not reach a normal conclusion.

According to fans in attendance, Purrazzo appeared to suffer an injury during a spot outside the ring. A fan named Jacob Cohen shared an update on X, formerly known as Twitter, following the incident. According to his account, the referee stopped the match after Purrazzo was hurt.
“Deonna got hurt on a spot on the floor,” he wrote. “The match was ruled a no contest and Deonna was helped to the back Hopefully she’s ok”
The match was reportedly ruled a no contest afterward. Purrazzo was then assisted to the backstage area. Purrazzo has remained silent on her injury status as of now. At this time, there is no official update regarding her condition. The extent of the reported injury also remains unknown.
Purrazzo won the inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Championship at Final Battle 2025 and has defended the title multiple times since.
