TNA Wrestling Brings Back Destination X After Nine Years, Announces Bound For Glory Location

TNA Wrestling announced the return of Destination X and the location of Bound for Glory at Slammiversary.

During the Slammiversary pay-per-view, TNA Wrestling announced that the Destination X event will return after nine years. The event will take place at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on Sunday, November 15, 2026.

The last time Destination X took place on pay-per-view was in August 2017, when TNA Wrestling operated under the name Global Force Wrestling. None of the wrestlers who competed in the event are currently with the promotion. The 2017 main event featured Matt Sydal defeating Bobby Lashley.

The first Destination X event took place in 2005 and saw Jeff Jarrett successfully defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Diamond Dallas Page.

Apart from that, TNA Wrestling also announced that this year’s Bound for Glory event will take place at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, on October 11. The show will also feature the TNA Hall of Fame inductions of former Knockouts World Champion ODB, Amazing Red, and Konnan.

The Slammiversary event just concluded, and it featured three big title changes, including Xia Brookside winning the Knockouts World Championship and Nic Nemeth defeating Mike Santana for the TNA World Championship.
