Paul Heyman Rudely Snubs Vision Member After Brock Lesnar Return on WWE RAW

Paul Heyman made his highly anticipated return on the June 29 edition of WWE RAW. However, it wasn’t just Brock Lesnar’s comeback that grabbed attention.

A brief backstage encounter later in the night hinted that Heyman’s priorities may have shifted, leaving one member of The Vision with more questions than answers.

While Lesnar’s return changed the road to SummerSlam, Heyman’s cold response backstage may have quietly planted the seeds for another major WWE storyline.

For Austin Theory, it looked like the conversation was over before it ever got off the ground.

Paul Heyman leaves Austin Theory behind after Brock Lesnar reunion

Heyman first appeared alongside his longtime client Brock Lesnar, who interrupted King of the Ring winner Oba Femi and accepted his SummerSlam challenge under one condition — the match will take place inside Hell in a Cell.

Later in the show, Heyman was seen backstage with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce discussing the blockbuster bout. That’s when Austin Theory approached him, clearly relieved to see “The Wiseman” back after weeks away from WWE television.

Theory admitted he had tried reaching Heyman and wondered why his calls had gone unanswered. He also believed Heyman would be in his corner later that night. Instead, Heyman responded with a cold demeanor, offered no reassurance, and simply walked away, leaving Theory standing there speechless. It was a verbal mic drop without the microphone.

The interaction appeared to signal that Heyman’s attention has fully returned to Lesnar. It also comes after a difficult stretch for The Vision, with the faction suffering several setbacks, including losing the WWE World Tag Team Championship and Bron Breakker falling to Seth Rollins at Night of Champions.

While WWE has not officially confirmed any split, Heyman’s actions suggested he may no longer be invested in Theory or The Vision.

Whether this marks the end of Heyman’s involvement with the group remains to be seen. For now, Brock Lesnar has his advocate back, while Austin Theory may have just been left reading between the lines.
