NWA has announced a new competition-based reality series, titled Into The Fire.
The promotion announced via press release, calling current and aspiring pro wrestlers to apply for the competition, with the prize being an official NWA contract. Only eight applicants will be selected, and one winner will receive the contract from the company’s President and CEO, Billy Corgan. The company had previously used “Into the Fire” as an event name. The title also refers to a 1984 Dokken song that served as the theme song for NWA Powerrr in 2019.
The press release read:
“Calling all current and aspiring pro wrestlers! Today the National Wrestling Alliance announces an open casting call for an upcoming competition-based reality show planned to join weekly flagship broadcast NWA POWERR on Comet TV. Do you have what it takes to step INTO THE FIRE?
“The opportunity of a lifetime begins now for just eight contestants looking to secure a chance to join the National Wrestling Alliance roster and earn a professional wrestling contract. Submissions are now being accepted for the new competition series, NWA’s INTO THE FIRE, to air on Comet at a date to be determined later in 2026.
The winner will receive a contract from NWA President Billy Corgan

The company’s next big event, NWA 78, will take place at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena on July 25. WWE’s Natalya will compete on the show.
