Cody Rhodes has turned his focus to reclaiming the Undisputed WWE Championship. Nevertheless, during a recent interview, the WWE star revealed that one of his biggest frustrations has nothing to do with life inside the ring.
Instead, it involves a popular video game that won’t let players make one simple choice.
While chatting with SmackDown’s Fallon Henley, Rhodes shared an amusing gaming pet peeve that struck a chord with plenty of players.
Cody Rhodes explains why Ghost of Tsushima annoys him
Speaking on What Do You Wanna Talk About? With Cody Rhodes, the conversation drifted from future ambitions to horses. The former WWE Champion revealed that owning a farm remains one of his biggest goals outside WWE.
“I definitely want, you know, in the future, I wanna have a farm. Yeah. I wanna have horses. I wanna have goats. I wanna have chickens. I wanna have land,” Rhodes said. “I want all the things, so.”
After asking Henley what she would name a future horse, Rhodes admitted the question came from his experience playing Ghost of Tsushima.
“Well, here’s my whole thing, as I ask you this question. I’m playing this game Ghost of Tsushima on PlayStation. I played it like 60,000 times.”
He then revealed the feature that continues to bother him.
“Nothing pisses me off more than you can’t name your horse. You have to pick from the names, and the names all suck.”
Although his in-game horse is called Nobu, Rhodes joked that he still isn’t satisfied.
“My horse is named Nobu and he’s cool and I respect Nobu, but it’s like, come on. I wanna put my own spin on this.”
It was a lighthearted moment away from WWE storylines, but Rhodes has little time to stay in gaming mode.
The “American Nightmare” recently defeated Jey Uso on the July 3 episode of SmackDown to become the No. 1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship. He is now set to challenge Sami Zayn for the title on the July 6 edition of Monday Night RAW, where he’ll hope to press “new game” on his championship chase.
