Nyla Rose has delivered a blunt response after a fan suggested she should start an OnlyFans account instead of complaining about her lack of television time in AEW.
The exchange quickly gained attention on social media. Rose made it clear how she feels about sitting on the sidelines.
While the former AEW Women’s World Champion hasn’t featured regularly on AEW programming, her latest comments show she’s far more interested in stepping back into the ring than simply collecting a paycheck.
Nyla Rose shuts down criticism over AEW absence
The conversation began when an X user replied to Rose by writing, “Just be happy you are still getting paid for doing nothing, that’s why you have to start an onlyfans.”
Rose didn’t pull any punches in her response.
“Dumbest fu*king take of all time,“* she wrote before explaining, “I don’t train, and make countless sacrifices of mind and body to sit back and do nothing… I WANT to wrestle, I WANT to work, I WANT to give my all to all the amazing fans the world over.”
She continued by rejecting the idea that she would ever be satisfied without competing. Rose added, “YOU may be happy to be a lazy POS and take advantage of people for ‘nothing’ but that’s never been nor ever will be me. Fing clown.”* It was a verbal clothesline that landed just as hard as anything inside the ring.
Rose remains under contract with AEW despite not appearing on AEW or ROH television in recent months. Reports indicate that she is healthy and medically cleared, with her absence stemming from a lack of creative plans rather than injury.
While waiting for another opportunity, Rose has stayed active internationally and on the independent scene. She has competed in Japan, captured the AAAW Tag Team Championship alongside Nightshade in Marvelous, wrestled for Marigold, and also held the Pro Wrestling EVE Championship in the United Kingdom.
Interestingly, Rose’s connection to OnlyFans dates back to an April Fools’ prank in 2022, when she jokingly promoted an account that featured photos of literal household fans instead of exclusive content. Even years later, her social media game still knows how to generate plenty of heat.
