WWE Hall of Famer Booker T hopes to see WWE star LA Knight get his long-awaited push.
Former United States Champion LA Knight came face-to-face with Seth Rollins on WWE Raw this week, claiming that the likes of Rollins and the Bloodline had hindered his momentum in recent years. On a larger scale, Knight accused Rollins and Roman Reigns of hogging the spotlight, which in turn made it difficult for any new stars to break through in WWE. Nevertheless, “The Megastar” vowed that he’d keep fighting until he reached WWE’s proverbial mountaintop.
Following Knight’s fiery promo, Booker T expressed interest in seeing Knight actually make it to that point.
Booker said on the Hall of Fame podcast when asked about Knight’s slow rise in WWE: “It’s hard for me to put a finger on what’s going on with LA Knight as far as why. He’s been a guy that they would have pulled a trigger on. I don’t know, I don’t book the shows, and that’s one of the reason why I try not to [comment]. I see a guy like LA Knight, I got to do something with him. We were just talking about expiration dates. Expiration date going to run out on him if we don’t do something with LA Knight. But then again, maybe it’s going to be one of those shocking moments that people go ‘Man, finally!’ when he does cash in. I don’t know. I’m hoping for LA Knight to get his to get his shine, get his big push.”
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are slated to clash over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2026. Knight’s fate at the premium live event, as of this writing, is unclear.
