Rich Swann‘s time in TNA Wrestling will continue as he’s officially inked a new deal with the company.
The former TNA World Champion confirmed the extension in an interview with Daily Star.
“I really believe in this company,” he said. “I feel great, I feel like right now TNA is at the spot that it needs to be. We’re killing it every Thursday night. And I’m just happy to be a part of that. I’ve been a part of Impact Wrestling and TNA since 2018. And to have this freaking spot, it just feels awesome. I really believe in this company, from the X Division to its Tag Division to its KO Division.”
In addition to his overall faith in the direction the company is moving, Swann noted that his personal belief in his tag team partner BDE also factored into his decision to re-sign with TNA.
“I want to see my man’s career through. I want to see him reach the heights that I know he can reach,” Swann said. “TNA has always been the spot to show fresh faces and to give fresh faces the opportunity and the platform to really shine and to show what they’ve been working on. And I’ve seen what BDE been cooking up, as the kids say, and I just want to be a part of that,” he said.
Swann initially joined TNA in 2018, when fans then knew the promotion as Impact Wrestling. Across the next eight years, he’d enjoy reigns as TNA World, X-Division, and Digital Media Champion. Moreover, he most recently challenged Mustafa Ali for the TNA International Championship at Slammiversary 2026, but fell short.
Looking ahead, Swann said he wanted to become a Grand Slam Champion under the TNA banner, which means the TNA Tag Team and International Titles are still in his sights.
