Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins’ newly reignited feud went on to a new level on the July 13, 2026, episode of WWE RAW. The two rivals met for a contract signing ahead of their SummerSlam match, but things turned personal when the OTC brought Triple H into the conversation while taking shots at Rollins.
Adam Pearce welcomed both superstars to the ring for the contract signing. Reigns came out first and asked the crowd to acknowledge him before Rollins made his entrance.
Seth Rollins signed the contract right away and said there are only three things guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and him beating Reigns every time.
Roman Reigns wasn’t impressed. After signing the contract, he claimed Rollins had spent years trying to convince everyone they were on the same level, even though he had never truly reached his level.
According to Reigns, SummerSlam would show everyone who the real No. 1 is.
Roman Reigns brings Triple H into the argument
As Rollins started leaving the ring, he sarcastically told Reigns he would see him the next time he actually showed up for work.
That comment got under Reigns’ skin.
He fired back by questioning whether Rollins could stay fit long enough to enjoy another world title reign. Reigns said injuries had always stopped Rollins from carrying WWE as the top guy.
When Rollins walked back into the ring, Reigns kept going. He mocked Rollins for needing the Money in the Bank briefcase to become champion and even accused him of pretending to be injured so he could cash it in.
Then Reigns brought Triple H into the conversation.
“Let’s just be honest here. If there was ever a time this guy to be number one, I mean, come on…your work daddy Triple H is damn near running this joint…They tried boy, they tried, oh did they try…I mean they pretty much gave you all my stuff. And you still couldn’t walk in my shoes number two,” Reigns said to Rollins.
Reigns finished by telling Rollins to accept that he has always been second best.
Rollins didn’t deny what Reigns said. Instead, he admitted he had dealt with those same doubts for years. He said he was proud of everything he had achieved and called himself a visionary and a revolutionary. He added that he and Reigns were never running the same race.
The argument at last turned physical.
Rollins suddenly punched Reigns, and as he was going for his Curb Stomp, the OTC fought back and landed a Superman Punch.
However, Rollins took control again. As Reigns lifted him to give a powerbomb on the table, he smashed Reigns with the microphone, hit him with a Pedigree, and finished the assault with a Stomp.
