Former WWE Undisputed Champion Sami Zayn has launched a new fundraiser.
Zayn is celebrating his birthday by supporting his Sami For Syria campaign. On July 12, his 42nd birthday, he announced he would match donations up to $20,000. The fundraiser will help keep his two mobile medical clinics operating through the rest of the year.

Sami Zayn shared the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter. He encouraged fans to donate and promised to match every dollar raised, up to $20,000. “Hello, it’s my birthday! My birthday wish this year is to raise as much money as possible to keep our two existing #SamiForSyria Mobile Clinics operating for the rest of the year.”

Zayn also shared a video explaining the campaign. He said the mobile clinics provide healthcare and medicine to displaced Syrians and people living in rural areas. “Hey everyone. It’s your old pal Sami Zayn, and today is my birthday. And as I have done for my birthday for many years now, I’m trying to raise as much money as possible for the Sami For Syria mobile clinics, which I operate through our friends SAMS, the Syrian American Medical Society.”
He then explained what the clinics do. “These mobile clinics come directly out to them and deliver, in some cases, life-saving medical care to them.” He added, “So today is my birthday, trying to raise as much money as possible. Trying to raise actually about $40,000 to fund these two clinics from now to the end of the year. So for today, I am matching every dollar you donate up to $20,000.” He ended the message by asking fans to give whatever they can.
