LeBron James is officially a free agent in the world of NBA, and WWE‘s The Miz has already made his pitch for the legend to come home.
During a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, The Miz issued a plea to James for him to come back home to the Cleveland Cavaliers. James obviously started out his career there, he left the team in 2010 for a stint with the Miami Heat. James would return back to the Cavs in 2014, and win a championship there in 2016 before leaving for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Miz said he spoke with NBA legend Charles Barkley about the possibility of it recently, and made a pitch to James on the idea live on the show.
“I said why, why do you, Charles Barkley, a knowledgeable person, say go to Cleveland? He said, ‘it’s the only play otherwise you’re chasing Michael Jordan,’” The Miz said. “So to LeBron James out there, come home to Cleveland. Bring us a championship, please. Because you did it 10 years ago. We saw you guys go out and do a vacation like no other. I wanna see you do a vacation 10 years from now about the championship you win this year.”
James has yet to make a decision on his future yet, but most reports do have the Cavs in the mix for his next possible team.
