Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jake Hager could soon return to wrestling. The former WWE star revealed he’s in talks with JCW. However, no official match has been announced yet.
Since leaving AEW in 2024, Hager has worked several independent shows. He has also stayed busy with MMA and Power Slap. Now, he hopes to wrestle for JCW soon.

Speaking on the Off the Rails podcast, Hager confirmed discussions are happening. “Definitely have been talking with the guys at JCW. Trying to lock down some dates coming up here. I know they have some big ones coming up. Love to be a part of it.”
Hager also praised the promotion and made a funny admission. “I think they’re a very good promotion that is really on the up and up, and, you know, deep down, 13-year-old Jake was a Juggalo. Don’t tell anybody.”
Later, Hager discussed his future outside Power Slap. He said wrestling remains an important part of his plans. “I have rental property. I have a trucking company that’s a year old. So, that would definitely get into it. But I think this day and age, you know, everybody needs multiple streams of income. I am definitely getting back into pro wrestling. hopefully I’ll be at JCW soon.”
