Brie Bella and Paige react to losing WWE tag titles
Speaking on Nikki & Brie Bella YouTube channel, Brie opened the discussion. “What up, everyone? So, we lost. We lost. We’re so sad.” Paige blamed Jacy Jayne for the loss. “It was my fault. It was Jacy’s fault.”
Brie quickly defended her partner. “It was Jacy’s fault. They cheat. They’re cheaters. So, it’s not your fault.” Paige agreed with that assessment. “No, it’s not my fault. It’s Jacy’s fault.” Brie admitted she couldn’t help after taking a hard kick. “I took a good kick to the head, so I couldn’t help, which I’m very upset about. But, we were just sitting here, like, just kind of were, like, sad because we’re like, it’s been such a fun ride. Doesn’t mean it’s over. Go get him back.”
Despite losing the titles, both women praised each other. Brie, “I couldn’t ask for a better tag partner.” Paige, “For every match, when I sh*t my spine out, but I knew next to you it’s going to be fine.”
Brie also revealed Paige’s arrival changed everything after Nikki Bella’s injury. “When Nikki got hurt a couple weeks before WrestleMania, I was like, I guess I’m just going to be out too. And then, when you first stepped in, I was just like, no one better.”
Brie ended by promising fans their journey isn’t finished. “We’re going to keep fighting. So, it’s not over. It’s not over. So, you guys stay tuned to watch us.”
