Our WWE Raw results for tonight include the final episode of Raw before this weekend’s WWE SummerSlam. With that in mind, we’ll be hearing from both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar will also be on hand for a weigh-in ahead of their match this weekend, and we’ll see Joe Hendry and Danhausen have a joint concert, a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match, and more.
WWE Raw Card:

WWE Raw Results:
Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar meet ahead of SummerSlam
The Hell in a Cell structure is above the ring, and Triple H and Adam Pearce are here in the ring. The Cell begins lowering, and Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman are on either side of it. Femi is introduced as weighing in at 302 lbs. Pearce then introduces Lesnar, who stands outside of the HIAC structure and locks the door. Femi comes down to the apron and gets laughed at by Lesnar, while Heyman then says that there’s been a change of plans.
Lesnar has the key to the Cell in his teeth, and Heyman begins listing off some of Lesnar’s biggest accomplishments. Lesnar is taunting Femi the whole time during this, and Heyman finally says Lesnar is weighing in at 303 lbs. Lesnar then simply tells Femi he’ll see him at SummerSlam, calls him a “bitch,” then walks off. Femi grabs the mic and says when they meet next, he won’t be locked in with Lesnar, but Lesnar will be locked in with him.
Femi then shows off his strength by hitting some of the officers in the ring with some big slams, including a big chokeslam.
The Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa) vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory)
Maxxine Dupri is here and, predictably, is getting involved. She started the match off by grabbing Tozawa’s ankles while the referee isn’t looking. Theory gets a few hits in on him as we go to break. Otis hits a few splashes on both opponents in the corner. Tozawa hits Theory with a big suicide dive, then goes up top, but Logan Paul distracts him.
This allows Theory to put his knees up, while Breakker throws Otis into the ring post. Breakker then tags in, and Theory holds Tozawa while Breakker runs back and forth and hits a massive spear for the win.
Winners – The Vision
Grade: B-
A pretty serviceable match, but nothing too special. Logan Paul hanging out and being annoying was fun, but that’s about it.
Je’Von Evans vs. Rusev
This is an interesting one from a style perspective, but both stars are going crazy from the start. Rusev throws Evans into the timekeeper’s area, then heads to the ring to make sure to break the ten count. Evans is waiting for him when he comes back, though, and leaps onto him as he head into a picture-in-picture break.
Evans then hits Rusev with a Red Dot kick, and Rusev rolls off the apron and down to the mat. Evans comes after him with a quick running dive onto the floor. Back in the ring, Rusev gets the upper hand and kicks Evans down to the apron, then goes for the Accolade, but Evans gets out of the way. The two continue trading moves for a bit before Evans ducks out of the way of a big kick, then hits a Stunner on Rusev. He ends the match with an OG Cutter.
Winner – Je’Von Evans
Grade: B
It’s a great mix of styles from these two, so the match was a ton of fun. Evans working against a big bruiser like Rusev always makes for a lot of fun due to his ability to sell some of the moves, and it worked here.
Joe Hendry and Danhausen’s concert turns into chaos
In the ring, it’s time for Joe Hendry and Danhausen to have a concert. Danhausen is playing the organ, while Hendry has three guitars in the ring. They do a remix of Hendry’s song but add in “you are cursed” to it for Danhausen. The Minihausens then show up, as do a group of female dances who all start marching around the ring. Boxer Ryan Garcia, who was ringside for the show, jumps over the barricade to join in.
Eventually, they all get in the ring, but once Hendry turns away from Garcia, he hits Hendry with a guitar. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh then enter the ring and ambush Danhausen. Mysterio hits a frog splash on Danhausen, and the heels all celebrate.
Rey Mysterio vs. Ethan Page
Both stars start things off here by trading some pretty big moves. Page locks Rey in an Electric Chair hold of sorts, which leads to them rolling around. Page keeps Rey on his shoulders, then picks him up and hits a huge powerbomb. Rey eventually gets the upper hand and gets some punches in, then sets Page for the 619 by throwing him into the ropes. Page is smart, though, and pulls up the ring skirt to block his face and distract Mysterio in the process.
Mysterio takes a spill after the failed 619, then Page picks him up and throws him into the ring post. He finishes the match by hitting the Ego Plex on Mysterio for the win.
Winner – Ethan Page
Grade: B+
Pretty fun stuff, even though the match only lasted about 10 minutes. Page using the ring skirt to stop a 619 is something I don’t think I’ve seen before, and a pretty creative way to get the win.
Backstage, Danhausen and the Minihausens are being tended to in his lab. Adam Pearce enters, and tells Danhausen to give Dominik Mysterio his money back. Danhausen instead says he wants a “human monies on a pole” match with Mysterio. Pearce doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and Danhausen asks if he’s ever heard of wrestling before. Pearce agrees to add a stipulation to their match and then walks off in need of a drink.
The Usos’ family drama gets even wilder
Jey and Jimmy Uso are making their way down to the ring, with new Bloodline t-shirts on. They get down to the ring and Jey quickly runs it back, and they celebrate again. Eventually, Solo Sikoa interrupts them, and is revealed to be in the crowd and in a nice looking suit. He says he doesn’t see The Bloodline anywhere because the “real” Bloodline is with him. He then said The Usos don’t stand a chance against them at SummerSlam.
Jimmy says Solo is acting like he doesn’t want to be back with the family, and to take it easy. Solo asks if they’re going to do anything about him or just stand around and “yeet” for 30 minutes. He loves where he’s at, and then told the Usos to tell Roman Reigns to kiss his ass, and that he’d be teaming up with Royce Keys and another partner.
Out comes LA Knight, who promptly says his heart doesn’t pump “purple piss” for the Usos and their issues. He says the brothers screwed him out of a title shot, and then screwed Keys as well. Knight turns to leave and says he’ll see them at SummerSlam, but then second guesses it, and runs down to the ring instead. Jacob Fatu soon comes out, as does Keys, and it’s a full on brawl. Things end after everyone gets some hits in and clears the ring, staring at each other from either side of things.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Sol Ruca (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Ruca and Rodriguez are duking it out while Lyra Valkyria watches on from backstage. Ruca hits a big huracanrana, then a kick that sends Rodriguez out to the floor. Ruca then goes up top and hits a huge moonsault onto Rodriguez.
Later in the match, Rodriguez is nursing a bloodied nose while the commentary team speculates on if it’s broken or not. Rodriguez doesn’t seem to mind, as she hits Ruca with a shoulder, then smiles as she wipes some of the blood off her face after a failed pin. Ruca is able to gain some momentum and hits a dropkick, but Rodriguez kicks out after a Sliced Bread No. 2 and a knee strike.
The match only got more chaotic, as IYO SKY would eventually make her way out. She joined things after Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan came out to try and interfere, although Perez was quickly hit by Ruca. Morgan grabs Ruca’s leg to try and help Raquel, but it didn’t work, and SKY comes out and gets in a brawl with Morgan.
Inside the ring, Ruca tries to hit a Sol Snatcher, but Perez pulls Ruca’s head onto the ring post, and Rodriguez finally capitalizes and hits a Tejana Bomb for the win.
Winner – Raquel Rodriguez
Grade: A-
Really awesome match that kind of saved the show from having no real premier match to speak of. Ruca obviously has a good chance at a rematch thanks to all the interference, and now Rodriguez can get some time in as a heel champ.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins meet in the ring
After some promo hyping up SummerSlam’s championship matches, including the title match between Roman and Seth, the latter two are ready to come down.
Reigns makes his entrance to chants of “OTC,” hands up, and all the pomp and flare. He’s about ready to make Los Angeles acknowledge him when Seth Rollins’ music hits. Rollins comes down, then tells Los Angeles to acknowledge him instead. Reigns calls him an “asshole,” to which Rollins replies that he’s guilty, and knows he’s definitely the bad guy between the two of them.
Rollins then said that, he’s forced to be the bad guy. He doesn’t get everything handed to him like “some of us” do, and had never started out on third base, but had to hustle to survive. He said Reigns is everything he says he is and everything the company wants him to be, including a money maker and the biggest star. However, Rollins said that pro wrestling is something that Reigns will never be better than him at.
Rollins then talked about how he’s “owned” Reigns in the past, and wondered if Reigns would disqualify himself or use the Bloodline to come help him since he can’t beat him on his own. He knows Reigns knows he has to beat him, but that he doesn’t stand a chance. Reigns then said Rollins doesn’t understand. Reigns said he’s the “only true superstar” in the company, and the only actual champion, and that the entire industry needs Reigns to win at SummerSlam.
They go back and forth a bit more with Rollins reflecting on his cash-in on Reigns, then says he hopes that Roman’s family is there again on Sunday, so that he can make Reigns’ family cry all over again and make his kids realize their dad is nothing but a fraud and will always be “Seth Rollins’ bitch.” Reigns finally had enough and punched a cackling Rollins.
Reigns starts hitting Rollins, then throws a bunch of punches at him before hitting a Superman Punch on him. Reigns then Spears Rollins, who sits himself up on the middle rope. Reigns then goes out of the ring, and goes to get a chair. He slides back in the ring, but Rollins is ready, and delivers a perfectly timed Stomp to Reigns right onto the chair, then yells at him as the show ends.
WWE Raw Review:
It’s a go-home show for Raw, so there was always going to be a lot of mostly nothing happening as we head into SummerSlam. Still, there was some fun moments here, including Je’Von Evans’ match, the Women’s Intercontinental match, and Rollins and Reigns getting into it at the end. SummerSlam has a lot of pressure to deliver upon, though, especially as it looks like so many of the angles they’ve been building lead up to it.
