Former ECW color analyst, Byron Saxton came to the ring and started talking about the awful week he’s had with ECW coming to an end and how things in his life are now so uncertain, much like many in the FCW Universe, and that “makes all of us like FAMILY”. He then made reference to the Florida Tag Team champions as “oppressors” against “our” family. Saxton then invited the audience to join him in singing “We Are The World” (yes, he actually sang a verse). He then introduced the “oppressed” team he is representing, Jimmy & Jules Uso.
The FCW tag champs then came to the ring, but Brett DiBiase was in street clothes. He took the mic and said the he had suffered an neck injury this week and wasn’t cleared to wrestle, but since he had family in town, he worked it out with GM Norman Smiley to have a substitute defend the title alongside Joe Hennig in his place.
