Christian vs Sheamus

Sheamus takes the early advantage displaying the strength advantage he has over Christian.  He clotheslines Christian over the top rope and to the outside as we take an early commercial.

When we come back from break, Sheamus has a headlock applied.  Christian breaks it, ducks a couple of clotheslines and tries a shoulder block, but he goes down.  Christian finally hits Sheamus to the outside and leaps on top of him with his second rope splash.  His momentum doesn’t last too long as Sheamus throws him shoulder first into the steel post.  He then rams his back into the guardrail before rolling him back into the ring.  Sheamus starts working over Christian’s injured left shoulder and tries for a pin, but Christian kicks out at two.

Sheamus continues working over the shoulder until Christian battles back and hits a dropkick off the second rope.  He lands some right hands on Sheamus and hits the high elbow off the second rope.  Christian tries a DDT, but Sheamus catches him and Christian kicks out.  Christian ducks the big kick by Sheamus, but is hit with a clothesline.  He then hits the DDT and goes for a pin, but Sheamus kicks out at two.   Christian tries the Killswitch, but Sheamus counters.  He rams Christian’s shoulder into the steel post again and hits the big kick to the face.  He then hits the Razor’s Edge move and gets the three count.

WINNER: Sheamus

We then cut to Triple H in the back who is met by Shawn Michaels.  Shawn tells Hunter that he knows that he’s been a little distracted lately with the Undertaker/Mania match.  He says that he knows he didn’t win the Rumble or qualify for the Elimination Chamber match either, but there’s always a silver lining.  He then brings up how DX has never wrestled at Mania and before he can go further, Hunter cuts him off and says that he did qualify for the Elimination Chamber match and he plans on winning it and going to Mania as the Champion.  "So it’s all about you now?" Shawn says upset before walking out.
