UP A STEP
Overall Show
While they didn’t do much to beef up the Survivor Series pay per view, they did put on an entertaining show last night.
I’m really liking the Kofi Kingston/Randy Orton feud. My "only" complaint is that I wish they were still laying the groundwork for DiBiase to split from the group. I hope they do something with that this Sunday. It doesn’t have to be much right now because Orton and Kingston still have a lot of legs following the ppv, but a slow simmer still needs to be brewing right now between Orton and DiBiase, in my opinion.
The Miz and Jack Swagger are also entertaining right now. Although I think Morrison’s team should score the pinfall this Sunday (that allows Orton’s team to win their match), Miz and Swagger do not have to be hurt at all as a result. It looks as if one of them will be turning heel soon and I’m anxious to see which one WWE decides should do it. Swagger seems to be the likely choice, but Miz has a catchprase that has caught on with every live crowd. However, people just love to hate his character. Either way, the two should continue what they have going because it’s a great mid-card program that is doing both of them plenty of favors.
Piper was a big step up from the celebrity guest hosts we’ve had in the past and his segment with Vince McMahon was fun to watch. The Divas are a mess, but who cares? Overall, I thought Raw was a good show and it should only get better following Survivor Series this Sunday.
