Vince McMahon & Teddy Long – Up a Step
.jpg)

I think both of these guys took a step up this week, but for different reasons. For McMahon, I like seeing him in this kind of limited role. He’s the boss. Everyone knows that. So it shouldn’t be hidden, but at the same time it shouldn’t be center stage. I have a gripe with the fact that McMahon is sometimes a heel and sometimes a face, but less-is-more definitely works for Vince. In Long’s case, it’s good to see a General Manager having more of a story line connection on a WWE show rather than simply being a mouth that comes out and makes matches. Having Long work a story line gives him depth and makes him seem like an important part of the show. He is the GM afterall.
